Terms and Conditions
The contract between you and us. It is written to be read — where a clause limits what you can expect, it says so in plain words rather than hiding behind capital letters.

1. Who these terms are between
These terms form a contract between you and Ha Duy Huy, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic under business ID 07876823, trading as Rankizo. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that company.
If you are an individual buying outside your trade or profession, you are a consumer, and several clauses below give you rights that we cannot take away — sections 6, 15 and 16 in particular.
2. The service
Rankizo is a hosted set of search-marketing tools: keyword and competitor research, backlink and referring-domain reports, rank tracking, technical site audits, Google Search Console reporting, AI-visibility reports, and an in-app assistant. It is provided as software, over the internet, on a subscription. It is not a marketing agency, a consultancy, or advice.
3. Your account
You need an account, and the details you give us must be accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
You may invite colleagues. We do not charge per seat, but everything they do counts as yours for the purposes of these terms, including usage they consume and any breach they commit.
4. Plans, credits and what they buy
Every plan unlocks every tool. Plans differ in the volume of paid data you can pull, which is metered in credits.
- Free — 1,000 credits once, on sign-up. Rank tracking and Brand Lookup require a paid plan, and site audits are capped at 50 pages.
- Starter — $49 per month, including 12,000 credits per billing cycle.
- Pro — $99 per month, including 30,000 credits per billing cycle.
- Agency — $199 per month, including 75,000 credits per billing cycle.
How credits behave, precisely, because this is the clause people argue about:
- Credits included with a plan are reset at the start of each billing cycle. They do not accumulate, and unused ones have no cash value and are not refundable.
- Credits you buy as a top-up roll over and do not expire while your account is open. They are still not exchangeable for money.
- Actions that need fresh data from a paid provider stop when your balance reaches zero. There is no overdraft and we will not invoice you for overage you did not buy.
- Where an action's cost can be estimated before it runs, we show you the figure first. The estimate uses the same conversion as the charge, but because it depends on what a third-party provider returns, small differences are possible.
5. Payment, currency and tax
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in US dollars through our payment provider. They renew automatically until cancelled. If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it clears.
We are not registered for VAT. Prices are the total amount payable and no VAT is added by us. If your own tax rules require you to account for tax on a purchase from abroad — for instance under a reverse charge — that is your responsibility, and your bank or card issuer may add its own currency conversion fees, which are outside our control.
6. Your right to cancel
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate the remainder.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because Rankizo is a digital service that starts immediately, the law lets you lose that right only if you ask us to begin at once and acknowledge that you will lose it. We therefore treat it this way:
- If you have not used any paid feature or spent any credit, you may withdraw within 14 days and we refund you in full.
- If you start using paid features within those 14 days, you are expressly asking us to begin performance. You may still withdraw, and we will refund the portion you have not consumed, keeping only the value of the data you actually pulled.
To withdraw, email support@rankizo.com saying so. No form and no explanation is needed.
7. Refunds
Outside the withdrawal right above, payments are non-refundable, because every paid lookup spends money with a data provider the moment you run it and we cannot get that back.
That said: if the service was broken, if you were charged for something you did not get, or if you were plainly billed in error, write to us and we will put it right. We would rather refund you than have the argument.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, using the service;
- resell, redistribute or republish the raw data we return as a dataset or a competing service — using it in your own reports and client work is exactly what it is for;
- share one account across an organisation to avoid paying for the volume you use, or attempt to circumvent credit metering or rate limits;
- probe, scan, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to other customers' data;
- use the crawler or the AI assistants against systems you have no right to test — see the next section;
- upload malware, or use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
9. Crawling and third-party sites
The site audit fetches pages from a domain you enter. Our crawler identifies
itself as Rankizo-Audit/1.0, and the onboarding fetch as Rankizo-Onboarding/1.0. Both read robots.txt and respect what it disallows.
You are responsible for having the right to crawl what you point it at. By starting an audit you confirm you own the site or are authorised to test it. Page counts are capped by plan, and we may throttle or refuse a crawl that looks like it would harm the target.
10. What we do not promise
Read this section properly; it is the one that matters most for a tool like this.
We do not promise any search-engine result. Rankizo does not control Google or any other search engine. Nothing here is a guarantee or forecast that your rankings, traffic, visibility or revenue will improve, and no ranking is ever attributable to using this software.
Search data is an estimate from third parties. Search volumes, keyword difficulty, traffic estimates, backlink counts, spam scores and domain authority figures come from external providers and from modelled data. They are approximations, they differ between vendors, they change without notice, and they can be wrong. Do not treat them as fact — treat them as one input to a decision you make yourself.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in this section limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
11. AI output
The assistants generate text with a language model. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or confidently wrong, and it is not professional advice. Check it before you act on it, and do not present it to a client as verified fact. Section 5 of our Privacy Policy explains where those messages go.
12. Your content and our intellectual property
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store, process and display it, and to send the necessary parts to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Rankizo itself — the software, the interface, the name and the logo — remains ours. Your subscription is a right to use it, not a transfer of ownership, and it does not let you copy or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits.
Reports and exports you produce are yours to use commercially, including for clients. Third-party data inside them stays subject to the restriction in section 8 on reselling it as a dataset.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Maintenance, third-party outages and provider failures can interrupt it. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove something you are actively relying on and the change is material, we will tell account holders by email beforehand.
We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects them, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
14. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches section 8, that is being used unlawfully, or whose payments have failed and remain unpaid. Where the circumstances allow it we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
On termination your right to use the service ends. Ask us and we will export your data for you; otherwise it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Liability
Some liability cannot lawfully be limited, and we do not attempt to: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, and any liability that Czech or applicable consumer law says cannot be excluded. Nothing below affects those, and nothing below affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, lost revenue, lost traffic, lost rankings, lost data, or loss of goodwill;
- we are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of third-party estimates or AI output, which sections 10 and 11 tell you not to rely on unchecked;
- our total liability for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and where you paid us nothing, to €100.
You agree to cover our losses if we are pursued by someone else because of how you used the service — in particular, if you crawled a site you had no right to crawl, or misused data you obtained through us.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
Consumers in the EU: if we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may refer it out of court to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, adr.coi.cz), which is the competent body for alternative dispute resolution. Please write to us first — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it.
If any clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For changes that materially affect your rights or what you pay, we will email account holders at least 30 days beforehand, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. If you do not, cancel before the change takes effect.
